WELCOME TO SYCAMORE TREE!
Sycamore Child Care Center is a brand new
Christian Child Care Center that aims to serve
families in Rutland and the surrounding communities.
We are a 5 days-a-week facility that provides all-day
care to children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old.
We aim to partner with families to provide a
high-quality Child Care program that demonstrates
the gospel to families in the community by operating
with excellence and benevolence. Our values are
centered on the teaching and practice of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23) to our children, families, employees, and community partners.
We are a fully licensed, child care center, providing quality early learning and child care for all children. Therefore, the school’s policy is not to discriminate in offering access to its child care educational programs and activities on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, creed, disability, parent's sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
OUR MISSION
We are committed to demonstrate the truth of the life giving gospel (Psalm 119:107) by providing a safe and nurturing environment where infants and toddlers will best grow and flourish physically, cognitively, and emotionally. We strive to provide infants and toddlers with age appropriate learning and experiences while also partnering with families and parents to empower and equip them as leaders in their households.

Hi my name is Taylor Callahan, and I live in Rutland, VT. As my husband and I start a family of our own, I have transitioned from being a wedding and event coordinator locally to working with the amazing staff and families at Sycamore Tree. One neat fact about me is that my husband and I received two baby goats as a wedding present, Lila and Josie. They have been a wonderful addition to our family as they eat everything in sight and go on walks through the woods!
