Small Groups at Mission City Church
An important Next Step for the Christian is plugging into community. MCITY Groups is aimed at providing and growing this community. Each week of the semester, MCITY Groups meet for discussion, prayer, and encouragement. This is the time where you are able to get to know to a smaller group of people who you can meet and feel connected to.
Three things to know about MCITY Groups:
Our groups are “free market”.
We want people to gather together based on things they enjoy and are important to them. Essentially, the things you are already doing in your life are the things that can make up your small group! From groups about books of the bible, to ways to grow your faith, from financial stewardship groups to student groups. We want our groups to be as varied as we are. If you feel their is a good topic to study, let us know!
MCITY Groups are on a semester based system.
Life flows in seasons, and we want to make it easy for you to be in the right small group for you in each season. This is why we have new groups that start and stop after about 10 weeks in what we referred to as semesters. Breaks during the semesters typically last for about four weeks. These breaks are a time for us to have leader training and a time for our men's and women’s ministries to meet.
Everyone can join a group.
Our hope is for every person at Mission City to be connected in a meaningful community through a small group. With many groups to choose from and that list growing every semester, we are confident there’s a group that is a great fit for you. You can search groups by topic, location, day, and time in our online groups directory with the link below. Once you find a few group that interest you contact the leaders to learn more and make plans to check them out in person.
You were created to thrive in community with others and to grow better together. MCity Groups are the people you grow, laugh, and serve with. If you are passionate about groups, we would love for you to consider becoming a group leader for the next semester. To view available groups and join one today, click the "Find a Group" button.
