One Child Matters - Hope Center
As a church our vision is to Develop and Deploy Disciples. To develop a river of multiplying leaders for the purpose of saturating Vermont, New England and the world with the message and mission of Jesus. We derive that directly form Matthew 28:19-20. Jesus commands us to "go and make disciples of all nations." We take that command seriously and are strategically working with our missions strategy to help do our part at Mission City.
For this reason, we have partnered with OneChild an international organization that brings hope, truth, life, love and mercy to 40,000 children living in poverty around the world. OneChild equips these children to reach their God-given potential by creating opportunities for transformational development of the spirit, mind and body, through their monthly child sponsorship program.
That means that Mission City's new partnership with OneChild has created an incredibly unique opportunity for our church family to sponsor children all in the same village in the Dominican Republic! Not only can your small monthly investment make a lasting impact in the life of a child, but your child will know other children being sponsored by people through Mission City!
With your help, a child in our village (Los Dominguez) on the north coast of the Dominican Republic can receive nutritional support, medical aid, educational assistance and lasting hope in Jesus Christ.
